How to use this tool
Paste one item per line and choose text or numeric sorting. Text sorting compares Unicode strings with an optional case-insensitive comparison; it is not a locale-specific dictionary order. Numeric sorting requires every retained line to contain a finite number. Choose whether to drop blank lines. Newlines are normalized to LF.
Try these values
Text sorting can place “10” before “2”. Numeric sorting puts 2 before 10 because it compares their values.
Common questions
Does it remove duplicate values?
No. Sorting preserves duplicates. Use the duplicate-line remover if needed.
Can it sort a CSV by a chosen column?
No. Each complete line is one value; CSV parsing and column sorting are different tasks.
