How to use this tool
Paste one item per line. Choose exact or case-insensitive comparison and whether to trim line edges before comparing and outputting. The first occurrence is kept; later matching lines are removed. Blank lines follow the same comparison rule. Newline characters are normalized to LF in the output.
Try these values
With exact comparison, “Apple” and “apple” remain separate. With case-insensitive comparison, only the first of those two lines is kept.
Common questions
Does it sort the remaining lines?
No. Their first-seen order stays intact. Use the line sorter separately.
Are blank lines duplicates?
Yes. Repeated equivalent empty lines are removed like any other repeated line.
