How to use this tool
Paste JSON and an RFC 6901 string-form pointer. An empty pointer selects the root. Slash separates object keys or zero-based array indices; ~1 means a literal slash and ~0 means a tilde. URI-fragment pointers beginning with # and the append marker - are not supported. Only existing own properties can be selected.
Try these values
For {"users":[{"name":"Ada"}]}, /users/0/name selects "Ada". A key named a/b is addressed as /a~1b.
Common questions
Does my input leave this page?
The tool processes its input in your browser. It does not send the text to our server for calculation. If advertising is enabled, third-party ad scripts also run on the page; use a trusted offline tool for secrets.
Can I use the result in my project?
Yes. Check the example and limitations first, and test the output with the system that will consume it.
