How to use this tool
Paste text and choose a case operation. Uppercase and lowercase use Unicode string case mappings. Title case capitalizes after spaces or hyphens; sentence case capitalizes the beginning and letters after sentence punctuation. These are mechanical rules, so review names, abbreviations and language-specific conventions before using the output.
Try these values
Simple title case changes “a short heading” to “A Short Heading”. It does not decide which small words a particular style guide leaves lowercase.
Common questions
Is title case a complete editorial style?
No. It applies simple capitalization and does not implement a publisher’s style guide.
Will abbreviations stay uppercase?
Not in every operation. Review acronyms and names after applying a case change.
