How to use this tool
Choose HEX or RGB input. HEX accepts #RGB or #RRGGBB; RGB uses three whole numbers from 0 to 255, separated by commas, with an optional rgb(...) wrapper. The tool converts opaque sRGB channels to HSL and rounds the displayed values. Alpha transparency, wide-gamut profiles and contrast compliance are not calculated.
Try these values
#FF0000 becomes rgb(255, 0, 0) and hsl(0, 100%, 50%). #369 expands to #336699.
Common questions
Can I include transparency?
No. Use an opaque three- or six-digit HEX value or RGB triplet.
Does a colour conversion establish accessibility?
No. Contrast depends on foreground/background pairs and the context of the content.
